We have decided as a group that we are going to do a horror film with the sub-genre of a zombie film. In the film we will include iconography of a zombie film such as blood, guts, weapons which would be used to destroy the zombies. Typical zombie groaning noises will also be included. We have also looked into similar films within our genre. These films include, zombieland, 28 days later, world war z and quarantine 2. These films will be useful to us as they are very similar to what we are wanting to achieve.
We have looked into similar films to give us an idea about how zombie movies work.
This film has lots of iconography of typical zombie films which we would also need to include in our film. This film includes a hospital which is quite a typical place for a zombie film seen as though it is usually some sort of disease outbreak that causes the zombies.
